It allows a specific amount of water to go into the humidifier unique to the Model numbers 350, 360, 440, 700, 700A, 700M, 760, 760A and 768
The Aprilaire 4004 In-Line Strainer is a tiny strainer that fits in the inlet fitting of the water solenoid valve which allows water to enter your humidifier
It is designed to keep debris from entering the solenoid valve and should be checked periodically
The Aprilaire 4236 Scale Control Insert is the U-shaped component which encases the Water Panel
